Emma Macdonald is a multi-award winning journalist, working on the front line of journalism for 25 years - 13 of which were spent in the Parliament House Press Gallery, rising to Canberra Times Bureau Chief.

Emma has been a regular commentator on politics for programs including Meet the Press and radio current affairs across the country. She has won critical acclaim awards for her work, receiving two Walkley Awards (1993, 2003) and an ACT Telstra Business Woman of the Year Award in 2016.

Emma is able to provide clients with a wide range of media services. This includes advice on proactive and targeted media campaigns, helping train staff and CEOs on engagement and performance across television, radio and print media, and drafting press releases for maximum impact.

She can also help with media strategy and crisis management using her experience of the Press Gallery and extensive media contacts.  An experienced public speaker, Emma can assist in keynote address preparation and delivery.

Jane Seaborn

Jane is a situational strategist who has been guiding organisations to understand, navigate and influence target audience attitudes and behaviours for more than two decades.

After a successful career as a journalist and media advisor, including for three Howard Government Ministers, Jane spent a decade in her own marketing communications firm, which was later acquired by Australia’s leading campaign consultancy, Crosby|Textor. As a senior research and strategy consultant with C|T she managed campaigns and provided strategic counsel to leaders in most of Australia’s top 25 ASX-listed companies and industry peak bodies.

She uniquely combines evidence-based research insights and communications experience to explain how issues are likely to play out in the public realm and deliver actionable recommendations for clients. She often works closely behind the scenes with organisations facing sudden challenges, in crisis and issues management (such as the Bali bombings), and with legal teams in cases with potential media interest.
